This guard is based around the features found on old guards. 3 ply mint/black/mint 11 hole guard 0.095”(2.4mm) in thickness will fit 62 US template layout. Buffed finish, truss scoop, wide bevel, warpage, cracks and aging around bevel and screw holes.

'57 Pre-CBS Single-Ply White Pickguard

Beautiful single-ply (one layer) 1957 reproduction pickguard. The first major-production version of the Fender Stratocaster* scratchplate, this is cut from the US 8-hole template from 1,6mm thick white plastic.

Carefully aged with superficial cracking in the right places (the top-edge screw holes were particularly prone to cracking for these pre-CBS parts), playing marks, minor shrinkage and discolouration. Buffed for an accurate cellulose texture.

Cut from the original 1950s eight-hole template this will fit directly onto original vintage guitars as well as more modern '50s Fender American and Mexican reissues.
